Mock Chili Dinner

Since we had to cancel the Chili Dinner, the kids asked for one just for us. So, I made turkey chili, put out some decorations, and let the kids put on their costumes. They looked forward to it all week! Emma was excited until she remembered it involved chili.
It wasn't like the "real" party, no fire or people. We finished dinner and the kids ran around in their costumes, took pictures without asking for my camera, and I worked out. BUT~ it was better than nothing, and we have high hopes for next year. We are mulling over a marshmallow roast after service before it gets too cold. Fingers crossed!
