Our First School Room for Blog Hop!

We will have most of our school hours in our Breakfast Room. Plenty of light, and chairs. I have been thinking of ordering some cushions for our bottoms though! The big bookshelf is for all, and the closed cabinet is for mom... thanks to some child locks!
I only have this frame of the kids up right now, we thought it would be fun to decorate the night before our first class next week. I don't know if we will last that long~ we are so excited!!
The kids have their own box for crayons and stuff. I am going to put toddler friendly toys on the bottom shelves when we start. On top I have my paper cutter thingy I bought at Staples for our note booking and lap booking.

I have our decorations, maps and more expensive/non kid friendly stuff in here. Also I have some curriculum dvd's and my prized label maker. (The kids would have a field day with it!)

This dresser is in our dining room, on the other side of the wall where my desk is in the living room. It has curriculum a books, and the drawers a games and printer paper.
My desk also has a filing space where I will keep most of our records.

I have seen great ideas from other moms already and hope to use some ideas! I will post finished pics next week!

  2. Anyone with little guys has to have the locked teacher's cabinet, I think! I waited several years for mine, and don't know how I ever survived without it!

It's so hard to make schooling in the dining room look organized...but you nailed it!
