Giving Thanks!

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving! Just us and a ham. We got up late and ate waffles, played the Wii for hours, missed lunch. I worked out (I have never worked out on Thanksgiving before in my life!) and started pies.

As you can see I had lots of helpers!

Of course at dinner the girls had no problem with prayer hand-holding. The boys~ not so much! During dinner we read the cards we each wrote about what we are thankful for. Leah was thankful for orange juice! The kids picked Secret Santa names over pie. We resumed Wii playing, and had a relaxing night! To me, it was the best Thanksgiving ever. It could have something to do with the missing Tom. I really don't like turkey. Except the one on my pie!

  1. Mmmm...pie! I especially like the prescription pill bottle just below the cooling rack! Perhaps you shouldn't let your husband take pictures of the pie next time!

  2. I enjoyed reading about your Thanksgiving and seeing your pictures! You are amazing - to work out on Thanksgiving! Actually, Tiffany and I did a 15 minute workout that morning. Something is better than nothing, right? Your determination is amazing -- send some my way please! :)
