I Love You More!

Happy 13th Anniversary! So~ we have made it another year! This has been by far one of the best years we have ever had!

This past year we changed our eating, started exercising and took off the weight. That alone has made me happier just being me, and makes me feel better about the love I get from my wonderful husband. We have done it together, making it all fun along the way, encouraging each other on.

We decided to homeschool, which I think has been the single best decision we have made this year. I really feel like God wants this for our family, and I have gotten so much support from Rick, and the online homeschooling community.

We took two really fun, cheap trips to Natural Bridge this past summer. I love it there! I hope to make more trips there this summer.

We reconnected with dear friends we have not spoken to in too long,thanks to Facebook, as well as made new friends with common ideas thanks to blogs, homeschool sites and Facebook.

I honestly don't know of a couple that have been through as much as Rick and I have. We are high school sweethearts with a rough beginning. We have had financial struggles, family tragedies, relationship issues and conflict from every direction. I also do not know of two other people who love each other more, or are as dedicated to each other as we are. We are best friends, support structures and someone (the only one) to lean on.

I am so thankful that God has given me my other half. We are so different, but so well complimented. He is patient and kind, thoughtful and understanding. Most importantly, he is a God fearing man. It doesn't do us much good to be with someone who isn't helping us get to Heaven. I am thankful to have Rick by my side everyday. I pray that God gives us a long life to enjoy with each other and our family.

And they lived happily ever after.....
