Joseph Trusted God’s Plan For Him

Have I mentioned lately how much I love this reading program? I am ever thankful for hearing about it last year. This third time out I am more grateful, and know that there will be struggles and blessings. I look forward to the growth.

Scripture~

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” Genesis 50:20

Observation~

Joseph trusted God’s plan for him.  

Application~

Bad things happen to good people. Our lives will be completely upended, and we will not know why.

Joseph could have been hardened and resentful for the course that his life took due to his brothers jealousy.

He could have played the victim.

He welcomed his brothers with love, he made the best of his situation and trusted his God. Look at how God used him!

Man gets it wrong. God never does.

Prayer~

Heavenly Father, please help me to get past the things in my life that I wish were not there. Help me to trust in you, and your plan, and know that you have control over all things. Help me to give those things to you, and let you sort them out. Help me to always trust you. Amen.
