What two things can make a Christian marriage fabulous?

Expectation & Communication

God gives us His expectations, and He communicates with us what they are. These two things apply to any relationship, but the marriage relationship is by far the most important one we have aside from God.

We need to have good communication, honest communication, communication that can be shared in a way we don’t fear being rejected.

On the other side, when we share our expectations, we should be able to trust that so long as they are reasonable, the other person will rise to meet them as best they can.

Remember that marriage triangle I showed you? Keep pressing toward Him, and you will keep moving closer to one another.

Keep growing closer to each other and you will grow closer to Him. Share your strengths, your weaknesses, ask for prayers, share your expectations.

Good things will happen.
