Happy Mother's Day

It's Mother's Day! Rick and the kids gave me beautiful flowers, a heart rate monitor, and antimicrobial dishcloths. Rick gave me a talking Michael Scott card~so funny! I love the monitor!! And no one knows how glad I am that Rick bought those towels (well maybe Rick does!)
I am really excited about my new health plan. I cannot believe it when I go out and read labels now! I mean I can't believe what is in so-called healthy stuff let alone when I look up nutrition facts for things I would never eat anyway (Mc D's and frozen dinners). In Prestonsburg there is absolutely nowhere healthy to eat out. We need a Whole Foods or something!
So, I have been eating between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. Most days I struggle to keep it above 1200. Christian thinks the label reading is going to far, I say it is a long time coming! I now crave water instead of chocolate, and even though I thought the first day I wouldn't make it one week let alone 2, I am hitting week 2 tomorrow ready to go on for the rest of my life like this! I treat my body with good, fresh, healthy food and exercise~ and am back on a good weight loss pattern. I was losing only 3 or 4 pounds a month (no wonder!) there for awhile, and lost 6 pounds in 9 days! I sure hope it keeps going this well!
