We decided to switch our History curriculum. None of us liked what we had bought at the start of the year, and I had heard so many great things about the Mystery of History that I decided to go for it. WE LOVE IT!! The lessons are lively, the schedule is great and the activities are fun! We started at the beginning, so we could make our timeline and because the curriculum is set up to review as you go each week. We will work through the summer to get through the book, but hey, it is a lot of fun! History is now our favorite class! On this day, we made creations from Playdoh, so the kids would see how difficult creating things is.

Noah made a dinosaur...

Hannah made an animal and Adam and Eve ( Eve's belly button came from Adam. Did they have belly buttons?)

Christian had to make an original creation
and name it. Aquasaurus.
A few days later we worked on our first timeline from Home School in The Woods. {I would have had a very unattractive stick man timeline otherwise!}
So glad we switched! Have I mentioned how much I love homeschooling? I LOVE IT!
We are doing American History again next year (civil war to present-ish), but have been thinking of starting Mystery of History after that. Thanks for the review!
