Today we started the little ones in “school”. Evan (almost 4) is doing Pre-K work, and Leah (2) will do some Tot School (because she won’t have it any other way..). Evan is doing work from Explode The Code. The workbook he started today is “Get Ready For The Code”. It is a primer for the series. We used a dry erase marker and sheet protector, to easily reuse the book.
Evan was super excited to get started, so we got to work a few weeks early!
After we finished with Evan we moved on to Leah, who worked with some size order cards we printed off from The Letter of the Week Curriculum we purchased over at Confessions of a Homeschooler. You can also download everything for *FREE* from her site, but I decided I wanted to save time, and make sure I got everything and purchased instead! After all, it’s only $10 for the download, or $15 for the cd. : )
Leah liked working with her “bugs”! I need to print out sooo much more for the Letter A, but wasn’t planning to do school for them today. I will get to work on Leah’s school stuff tonight. Isn’t Leah sweet??
Today the rest of our curriculum for the big guys came, and I am going to write about that this week as well. I love homeschooling!
Can't believe another school year is starting! You are doing such a great job - and what a joy to watch them learn EVERYTHING!!! You amaze me!
