My back loves the weights I use with ChaLean Extreme, but I had fallen off as I was a little bored of the workout I had been doing for 2 years. I had been using the bands, and the resistance workouts with Turbo Fire. The back has not been happy, so weights it is.
This week of workouts looked like this:
Monday- Walk, run, giant stairs at the lake with a friend.
Tuesday-C25K
Wednesday- ChaLean Extreme Push Circuit 1
Thursday- C25K
I started writing this post on Thursday. On Friday my body put a message out to me that it was finished with the C25K business. For the third time in a row, while trying to become a runner {this time actually enjoying it} my tailbone jumped sides. I don’t really know how to describe that, but I can say it causes extreme pain, my left leg to not work, and I feel like I am going to fall over with every painful step I take. I saw my chiropractor twice yesterday. The first time I got up was pulled up off of the therapy waterbed and tears streamed as I tried to walk. I felt like an idiot, but couldn’t avoid it. The pain was that bad.
So…with that, I bid adieu to C25K. Third time is a charm, I am pretty sure of it.
Because of this injury I am missing the 5K walk for breast cancer I was going to do. I can’t even tell you how upset I am about that. I think I will pout for a week about it.
Stupid.
This post was supposed to be about goals. My goals for the week are to gently exercise as to not get in a rut. These goals look NOTHING like what my goals were going to look like.
{me-before said tailbone incident}
~Be active through pain so I don’t end up in a wheelchair.
~See chiropractor on Monday, and see if he wants me back again after that.
~Drink more water.
~Lose one pound.
I certainly hope your workouts had better results this week! How did you do?
