As a newer homeschooling mom, I am daily amazed at what I am learning, as well as my sweet children. I have learned also that I am a very visual learner, and the videos that we watch with Download N Go my absolute favorite part of the curriculum.
Since that is my favorite part, I guess you might think that anyone could go to You Tube and look up videos on any given subject. While that may be true, does that mean that you are going to have the time to look up the right kind of video with correct information? There is a lot of content on You Tube! And most of it is content we wouldn’t want to be sorting through with our impressionable little children! I always check the links first, however in more recent DNG most of the videos are on an isolated page with no other You Tube distractions. I really appreciate this about the series. The internet can be a scary place, as well as very informative. DNG takes the guess work out of it for you! Even if you are wary of the internet, DNG makes the web easy and you won’t accidentally find yourself in a questionable place.
*Always check your links, as the internet changes a lot. We have never had any problems, however.*

I thought I knew a few things about Ben Franklin. Boy was I wrong!! I won’t give it all away, you need to buy it and find out for yourself!! I had no idea about all of the many things we have him to thank for in our everyday lives! I thought my husband was the “jack of all trades”, but I fear he will have to step it up a notch!!
This study is FULL of information, videos, and hands on activities. I think that homeschooling, especially DNG, do well practicing this Franklin quote:
Tell me and I forget.
Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn.

I have looked at these before, but never bought one before. One of these days, I'm just going to have to try one out to see what I think of them. They certainly look nice, so I would be interested to see what I actually thought of them. Thanks for reviewing one!
