100 Months

I was a young mother. At  18 I looked at other young moms around me,whose lives were still at the mall, while their parents were raising babies for them. I was not interested in daycare,or anything like that. Let someone else raise my child? No way. But breastfeed? I decided to pass on that one.

I had decided quite honestly, that breastfeeding wasn’t what breasts were for. Society made me feel like it was gross,or taboo. A book I was given even mentioned some things that made my decision even more clear. I was going to bottle-feed my baby.

You can read the rest of my story over at Rediscovering Domesticity!
