What is the most dreaded question most moms have after a day of school?
“What’s for dinner?”
I don’t know about you, but if I am not well prepared, that little question stresses me out!!
I decided to give E-Mealz a try, when the opportunity to review it came up.
What I like about it~
1. It does all of the work for you. The recipe, shopping list, and suggested sides are all provided.
2. There are many different plan options for what kind of meal you are looking for-low carb, low fat, gluten free {which I still don’t know anything about}, portion control, vegetarian…
I chose the low carb meal plan from Walmart. There are many more to choose from.
3. With the option of stores you can choose from, you will always get a menu with the best possible deal, so it is not only convenient, but a money saver.
4. When you find a recipe you love, you have all of the info to make it again ready for another trip, just keep the lists you print out.
5. Recommended by Dave Ramsey. I respect him, even if I fail at getting our emergency fund built, so his support was a big plus.
Things I don’t like~
1. No option big enough for our family.
The largest plan they offer is for up to 6 people. We have 8, so using this company requires me to do some math, and the whole point is to keep things simple. Reworking every recipe is not something I want to do.
2. I am horrible with remembering to go and get my recipes each week. This isn’t a flaw with E-Mealz, but I would like to have a reminder that a meal list is waiting for me.
All in all, E-Mealz does what it sets out to do-answering the question of what’s for dinner. At a low price tag of $1.25 a week, anyone with a family smaller than ours should give it a try. It’s as easy as…
**I was provided a free subscription to E-Mealz while I was a part of the TOS Crew in exchange for an honest review.**
