Goofy Gecko Review

This is my first review for the very popular Unit Study series Download N Go. I have been wanting to add these to our homeschool lineup for awhile now. I am so happy I was one of the lucky homeschoolers selected for this opportunity. The title up for review this week is Goofy Geckos.

During the 5 day study we all learned a lot. The information was great and the videos were very engaging. We all crowded around the computer, replaying some over and over. We didn’t do any of the lapbooking components (this was a really busy week) but we did color daily pictures.

I have only known about Geckos through Geico commercials! These are fascinating, friendly little guys. “The Science of Geckos” on Day 4 surprised us all! Here is an overview of what we learned, day by day this week.

Amanda Bennett and The Old Schoolhouse Store have made an easy and enjoyable study for us. The best part for me was that every time I said it was time to learn about Geckos, the kids came running, and were all, down to littlest Leah, taken in by the study. The downside?  The kids want a Gecko. Sigh. I think I want a Gecko too. I can’t wait to start the next one on Monday!
