Our classroom yesterday? We went to New Orleans. Many pictures will be coming in the next few weeks, but for today I will share another first, other than this whole trip to the South!
We stopped at a little local eatery called Primo’s. Why? Because there was a guy out on the sidewalk yelling. He was trying to pull people in, and we went.
I guess that means it worked.
Leah, unable to control herself from the open doors leading to Decatur Street, pouting that she was told not to chase the pigeon.
Emma with Daddy in his Chicago shirt on in New Orleans….(Mommy was wearing Team Edward, which is neutral and knows no city).
Daddy and his~ wait for it~
ALLIGATOR Po-Boy :O
Leah loved it….
And so did I!! They said it tasted like chicken. It was MUCH better than chicken!
I went to New Orleans, and ate ALLIGATOR!!
Many, many posts to come. Homeschoolers really have it made! New Orleans is amazing!
I only have one word. Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'm from New Orleans! So glad you guys had a great time. Now, I've NEVER tasted alligator. Yikes...
ReplyDeleteGREAT shots!!!
Don't chase the pigeon. Ahhh...the things parents never think they'll say!
ReplyDeleteOver from Sweet Shot, and I have to say. The Alligator has me very intrigued. We went to New Orleans many years ago, but unfortuneately I was suffering from morning sickness and the two memories will always be intertwined.
