Pizza! Pizza!

Today I am sharing another review for Download N Go. This review is for the title Pizza Party which can be purchased online at The Schoolhouse Store.PizzaPartytiltleft

What is under the hood you ask?

In this title you will find the following:

Day 1: Pizza—What Is It?
Day 2: The Story of Pizza
Day 3: Types of Pizza
Day 4: The Science of Pizza
Day 5: Let’s Have a Pizza Party

As always Amanda has filled the study with fun facts, fun videos and lots of lapbooking components.

We learned the Who What Where and When of pizza and Italy. We really needed a passport! I have never been much of a traveler, but after this engaging study, I want to make it a goal to visit Italy, it is an amazingly beautiful place!

One of the best parts of the study was learning what people from other countries eat on their pizza. There were some weird faces coming from me and the crew with that one. Let’s just say we will be sticking with different American varieties of this famous pie.

Our favorite part? PIZZA!!!

We decided to try a breakfast pizza (recipe is in the study) using turkey sausage and farm-fresh eggs.

We made it a team effort.

With a little elbow grease, and flour, of course.

This crust needs a good lip, to hold in the egg base.

Some cheddar, and sausage…

Voila! The kids all cheered, we’ll be making this again!
