Today I am so excited to welcome our first guest writer for Finding Frugal. Thank you Tricia!
I used to be able to point to one or two really big things that have made a difference in our family life because of our frugal living lifestyle. I tried my best to narrow down some topics to share with you today. But I couldn’t. See, since I first found the many freedoms in frugal living, the habits spread to all parts of our family life. I've found, that as soon as you start down the simple savings path, the frugality spreads and grows. So, rather than focus on one portion of our frugal lifestyle, I’m sharing a round up of ways we save money at Hodgepodge: The Practical:
- Baby Steps to Frugal Living. Homemade cleansers and laundry detergent. A month of slow cooker recipes.
- Frugal Living Section on Hodgepodge. Simple money-saving ways.
- Feeding the larger family on a budget. Frugal recipes at $5 Dinners.
- Simple Strategies. Batch cooking, make supper at lunch, a one day big cook, simple suppers, fast food for slow Sundays.
- Back to Basics series. Doubling recipes, freezing for future busy weeknights, batch cooking in the slow cooker.
- Teacher/Neighbor Gifts. A round up of simple gift ideas.
- M&M gift
- Immediate family: 3 gifts for Christmas
What's the simplest way you've found to save money?
