September 3in30

I failed miserable with posting about 3in30 last month. I have just had a lot going on, and something had to give, I suppose.

We switched ALL of our homeschool curriculum (we had started back in July) and that took a lot of work, and time. Then at the end of the month I got to work on a new blog name and design. You like?

I have been thinking about all that lies before me, and where I want to be, and have come up with goals for this new month of September. It is coming up on my most favorite time of the year!

The Goals

1. No internet before 1 p.m.

This is going to be tough, but the truth is, I just don’t have a place for it before then. I have a large family that needs my direction, and I always get lost in a see of links, curriculum, and the latest Twitter discussion.

I may allow myself to check my phone after my Bible study time is done if I truly have the moment to spare. I will still be here, just not until the kids have there quiet time, and then I am off to do chores.

You’ll still love me, right?

2. Prepare for Ladies’ Day.

A congregation nearby was crazy enough to ask me to speak to a group of women at a Ladies’ Day later this month.

Me.

So, now I am in study and prayer to prepare for this talk.

Did I mention I have never done anything like this, and I am slightly terrified?

3. Do better with 3in30 posts.

This may seem like cheating, but since I bombed on this last month, and the other two goals are REALLY BIG, I am taking this one. I want to check-in, link-up and visit better than last month.

I hope not to fail at any of these goals this month, I hope you will smack me if you see a tweet before 1:00 PM, ET.
