We used to think that the more was under the tree, the better. We don’t feel that way anymore, and find that the best gifts, the ones we really remember, haven’t come from the big name stores. They are the ones lovingly crafted just for the person who is going to receive them.
I thought you would enjoy a bit of a gift round-up. A post with some lovely handmade ideas to give this year. We also have some great giveaways for you, but even if you don’t win, I hope you will visit the shops and buy something this year, there are links to each shop within this post.

Bloem & Grow {giveaway #4}
I have been purchasing handmade gifts from Kate since I found her online-
Our first two sets of blocks were a Christmas gift for Evan and Leah. These blocks have been my gift of choice for every baby shower since as well.
Kate’s newest offering- a “nest” necklace only available for Christmas, for $10
She also makes a slew of other crafts-
including these Scrabble tile necklaces-
{these are both mine-the photo is of my dear Grandma Betty, who passed away in 2008}
Kate would like to give a Scrabble tile photo necklace to one of you!
Blocks are 6 for $15 or 13 for $30. Can be personalized.
Clothes pins $7 each or 2 for $10
Scrabble tile $6 and with a photo $7 {Christmas orders can be placed until 12/12}

Our Blessed Life Designs {giveaway #6}
Last, but not least, is my dear friend Aurie’s Etsy shop. Aurie is a fellow Growing Your Homeschool writer and was going to be my Relevant roommate, but I ended up not attending the conference.
Aurie also has many skills-
She lovingly makes blankets, hairbows, hair bow holders, and knitted items. Aurie would also love to give one of you a blanket of your choice! If you haven’t met Aurie, I urge you to head on over to her blog, Our Good Life and say hello.
The giveaways-
If I count right, there are 6 giveaways here. That means I will pick 6 winners. I will pick the first winner and match them up to giveaway #1, and go through the process 5 more times.
I will choose the six winners on November 28 using Random.org.
