I am still in shock that we are in November. This year has been the fastest ever! My goals for November are:
1. Focus on Gratitude and Thanksgiving {even when our answer is no}.
I guess this one is partially left to my assessment. I inwardly feel like I have been handling my no as well as I possibly can. As for the “Thanksgiving” aspect of this one, I am working on a craft for our home that I will share next week.
2. Be a Better Spouse.
I bought Ashley’s book, but haven’t done well with implementing it yet. I do know some changes I want to make, and so I moved forward with that aspect of it.
For my husband, I know I make life easier for him the less I lean on him, so I have been more self-reliant. I have also been spending less time here online. I don’t ever want being a blogger to take away from my family, or my connections online. Unfortunately, to some degree they have.
I have stayed offline as much as possible, even forgetting a post on the Growing Your Homeschool blog as a result. I need to take a step back and decide what I have to let go. I can’t continue doing it all and still be what my family needs.
{I am also not doing a One Bite post this week to help keep computer time down.}
3. Use my indoor voice.
I wouldn’t say this one has been a win yet. I have days when I do better than others. Today was much better than yesterday. Maybe tomorrow will be better still.
