I have already mentioned that there are boundaries I am not willing to cross in frugal-land. I truly think the biggest thing that will make me successful with this is sticking to the list.
I was worried that I couldn’t be frugal and eat food that tastes good.
I was wrong.
I shared my new frugal find last week-
Which is full not only of tips, but some delicious recipes as well-
Like this Chicken Pot Pie, with Cheesy Biscuit Topping. Yum! {And I don’t even like chicken pot pie…}
We have been eating oats, grits{not a fan}, eggs, and homemade wheat waffles {with blueberries we picked in Mississippi} topped with agave nectar for breakfast. We haven’t bought any cereal. We saved a ton, and we are happy with our warm breakfasts.
No unexpected lunch outings or pizza runs.
I also discovered another no questions asked non-generic item. Truvia. I may have saved a couple of bucks, but I lose in the end when I can’t stand the off brand. I had to replace it with the real thing.
I am not suffering through with this one like I did with the toilet paper. No way.
Other than that, I am doing pretty well. December is a tight, tight, did I mention tight? month. I can do this, right?
