We all sometimes lose sight of the important things. Kind of like you can’t see the forest through the trees, you know?
I realized at some point my schedule wasn’t working for me, so I stopped doing it. That isn’t a problem, except for the fact that I never sat down and figured out a new one!
Or maybe, just maybe- I didn’t give enacting schedule as much time as I did making it. Do you ever do that?
This month I am going to give an honest look and do the the following schedule related things:
Reevaluate and Redo~ Daily Schedule
Schedule and Limit~ Computer time (with help of schedule)
Follow Through~ with the routine I decide on.
In all seriousness- I may love to do all of the cleaning on one day, but how often is it getting done? I may plan one crazy day of laundry, but what happens when mom has a neck problem and spends the day (or days) at the chiropractor?
How much good does the meal planning work if I am catching up on laundry that didn’t get done? It doesn’t work very well, by the way.
I try desperately to be the perfectionist who gets-it-all-done. I turn my nose at the schedule to be quite honest. I feel like I should be able to sail on without it. I think the past few weeks have proven that wrong. My schedule has been absent, things have been disorderly, and I shut down.
One problem with my perfectionism is if all things aren’t the way I like them, I become a nervous wreck.
A well planned, well followed schedule will help that. I just know it will. I am counting on you ladies to keep me accountable!
Now I just need to schedule the time to work on this!
