Simplifying the Master Bath

This is so, so sad.

I work on this closet often. The shelves are too deep to organize easily, and we have no medicine cabinet in our bath to put this stuff in.

Ugh.

The closet got a little crazy while I purged all the other stuff!

I removed everything from the closet. I kept only what we needed, and reworked how the little crates were worked in. There were 4 on the one shelf before.

I only kept 2 on the middle shelf, one His and one Hers. The drawers hold hair clasps and head bands. I just went through them, getting rid of a few things we don’t use.

I put some less used things way up top, and brought the iron down from the top. I moved our extra lotion and body wash down the the bottom (left of towels) where it will be easy to reach. The the right of the towels there is another crate holding washcloths.

This set-up has lasted from my last bathroom purge. A basket for our frequently used, small items on the left, and glass jars with our cotton balls and Q-tips on the right. The drawers don’t work well, so the only thing in there is my makeup case.

As for my other 3 in 30 goals, our Bible verses are all planned, and we are working through Proverbs. As for the schedule- let’s just say Grandma has been here from Mississippi. Who follows a schedule when Grandma visits? We have done Bible, History and Science. We go back to our regular school schedule next week.

My words of encouragement for this week are to keep going. Even if you have a bad week or weeks, just keep your mind set on what you can accomplish, not on what you can’t.

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
