First- Happy Birthday Hannah!! 11 years have flown by!
Our bedroom was the next stop for my whole house simplifying for 3in30. It also happened to be the same theme this week for HOMEmaker’s Challenge!
This is as bad as my bedroom gets. I had just sold my treadmill- I enjoy kickboxing so I didn’t need it, and the bedroom was already on my list for the next room to simplify. I try to keep our room a haven.
The big space by the window used to be filled with a toddler bed, which I moved to where the treadmill had lived. The chair is filled with clothes to put away. Where do all of those clothes come from anyway?? The biggest challenge I have in here is laundry. The only place I was unhappy with was where the chair was.
We bought the ladder shelf on sale with the treadmill money. I sold it for cheap since I wanted it out of the room. The toddler bed is tucked back in the corner on the left.
I love our bed, our bedding and the color in our room.
The doors lead to our closet and bathroom.
My favorite thing in our room. We had our vows renewed 4 years ago on our dating anniversary, in our 10th year of marriage.
I was expecting our 6th child, and now wish I would have waited to do it when I was thinner. I didn’t know I was going to lose 78 pounds, or I would have!
So that was our challenge for the week. I keep our room clean when not removing large items from the room by having the kids take up their clothes each day, and weekly cleaning.
Can’t wait to find out what the next challenge is!
Oh- and in case you haven’t heard- I am going to Relevant!!!!!

ReplyDeleteAt the present my husband and I don't have a bedroom because we ran out of rooms so we have our bed in the great room of the house in amongst the toys, books, and chairs!!! I look forward to someday having a bigger house and my own room again!

ReplyDeleteWow - you're room is beautiful! Very much my taste. :) Ours is a disaster...very small and since we don't spend any time there during the day it tends to be the place where we put things that don't have another home. Great work!

I forgot to mention that part of the process was cutting down on pj's and stuff in the drawers :) They were neat anyway.
