Stick With It Saturday- Buckling Down

I know it isn’t Saturday. Play along with me, I wanted to see my new comment thingy, and I won’t be home tomorrow for any questions. On to the post~

This journey has been a rewarding one, it has also been tough at times! Although I have never fallen off the wagon,  I have cut some corners. I am good at working out. I usually get in 5-6 workouts a week. I am less than good about making sure my diet is clean.

I like potato chips.

Especially the kettle cooked ones that are sharp cheddar. I also drink too much sweet tea.

No more.

We just went to the store, and I replaced the chips with healthy snacks. I am not allowing myself more than two glasses of sweet tea max per day. {And please don’t offer me unsweetened tea with a packet of anything in it. It just isn’t the same!} I will also allow myself a daily small piece of dark chocolate.

I don’t have a weight problem or goal, I just want to be doing everything I can to be the best me. If I happen to have movement on the scale, I will share it with you. If I veer from the plan, I will tell you that too!

And just to shake things up a little, enter a month of this:

I have never stuck with one of these, as I enjoy Turbo everything so much. I am going to commit to one entire month of this program. I did day one today. I want my weeks to officially start on Mondays so I will get two extra of week one. I like it so far. Only 29 more days until I am “ripped”. We’ll see how it goes.

Do you need accountability for weight loss? Are you just nosy? Then meet me back here next Saturday to see what went down! Expect sweaty pictures.

  1. Don't expect ripped when you see me in October. I mean, one can hope, but sometimes it's best to lower expectations. :) Since you already work out quite a bit, is day 1 easy for you or is it difficult?

  2. I installed the widget. It was really easy! Intense Debate. Unlike Disqus, you can install it for new posts only and avoid losing your old comments. Oh, and I do have an iPod- thanks for that! I used a journal and old fashioned calorie counting before- every single thing that touched my lips!

  4. :) YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! Unsweet tea with a packet of sugar is NOT the same!! I hear you! :)

I had a great workout this weekend. We worked on the house and taking out windows and taking down gutters and spouting and shutters. Going up and down the ladder = major leg work out! :)

Tomorrow is THE DEMO DAY!! Hoping to get another great workout :)

  6. I wasn't going to take pictures-I did before when I lost the weight. I have been working out 5-6 days a week for a few years. I just recently loosened my diet- and I don't like it. If I think of it I will take a shot- I just don't know that there will be much change!
