February 3in30 Week 3

My Goals for February~

Household Binder
Water & Vitamins
Live Simply

I have been daily writing in goals and projects in my household binder. I am using the months to plan out my blog posts.

I have remembered my vitamins almost everyday, I have been drinking more water, but not always making the 6-8 glasses goal I set for myself. I think I sat the bar a little high for Winter! The important thing is I have made remembering water a priority.

I have done work in my kitchen this week, although I had hoped to be done with the house by now….it has been a hard week for our church family, and I plan to charge on again for next week.

I did not get a “before” of this cabinet, but it is usually clean anyway. I rearranged some things, and chose a few things for my yard sale.

The spice/baking cupboard. I gave each shelf a purpose.

The very top, which is hard to reach is home to my cake decorating stuff, cupcake holders and candles.

Beside that basket are my coloring pastes, and decorating sprinkles. The only change here was the sprinkles moved into a box.

Boxes I use more often, but not everyday on the next shelf. I have since added all of my glass measuring cups beside the cocoa container.

Large spices and stuff.

Most of my friends think I am a freak of nature because I keep my spices this clean. No- they are not in ABC order. When things are of multiple shape and size, I always arrange by height. I really do keep it this neat, I just moved things around.

I have one more cupboard to go, and then a deep-clean of the kitchen before moving on to the bathroom.

I hope to get much more accomplished next week!

How are your goals coming along?

  1. Your cabinets look wonderful!! I wish I were so organized and neat. I just wish I had enough pantry space. Very little cabinet space in an older house. ;)

  3. We buy our spices from the Amish and I really need to find containers - but it's so difficult to find practical containers for everything. You're doing great. I went out again today and I STILL didn't get the stuff for the box. Oh boy. *forehead smack*

  5. I was just trying to figure out if they were in alphabetical order when I read the rest of the post. Your cabinets are insanely neat, I think mine could look like that if I never allowed my husband, kids and sometimes even me into the kitchen.

  6. Samantha, you are putting my cabinets to shame! Especially my spices. They are just awful. You may have just inspired me to get mine cleaned and organized. I hope you have a great new week!

  8. Great job on your cabinets! That is actually one of the jobs that I have on my "to do" list.

I like the blog schedule. I have thought about penciling in some blog post ideas on a calendar. I probably would change it up a lot, depending on what is happening in my life, and what I felt like writing about, but it would help me not feel stuck if I didn't have something specific that I wanted to write about.

    Have a great day! :)
