And so we begin again.
Last July I committed to a challenge that intrigued, excited, and evoked fear all at the same time, to read the entire Bible in 90 days. You can read about my fears in my post “Challenge” when I learned about B90Days.
The challenge started out really well, but I soon realized I would need to change my daily schedule, and really take a hard look at my priorities. There was the week I got behind, and caught back up. And the week that I finished, 4 days early.
The weekly blog check-ins, twitter chats, messages from my mentor, and daily twitter updates do more than you can imagine. I finished so strong that I decided to jump right back in on my own. Alone. It was a bad idea. I decided fairly quickly to wait for January. Don’t underestimate the group! Take the helps that are offered to you.
So here we begin again, B90Days starts tomorrow. This time I have helped with some of the behind the scenes aspects of arranging groups and support tools. I don’t know how Amy does it! I will also be hosting some chats, as well as serving as the mentor for Team 3 for this new session.
I encourage you to reap the blessings of this amazing challenge.
I heard about the challenge a few days ago for the first time. I've been thinking about it since, almost signed up ~ printed out the list; but feared, what if I can't do it. Fears, why fears to so much, aghh! ;) So silly. I thought I would look through a few of my blogs tonight for the purpose of killing time. I thought to myself, if someone else mentions this challenge... and then I happened on your post. I feel like you did on your initial pre-challenge post you referred back to. I'm glad you mentioned it, I'm working on myself right now.
ReplyDeletePam- Thank you for your honesty! I hope you'll come back and join! Please let me know if you do decide, I will personally mentor you :)
ReplyDeleteI completed the first reading, and signed up, now I'm excited. I mentioned you on the sign up sheet.
ReplyDeleteI am cheering for you!!! YAY! If you email me your email, I will send you my welcome letter I wrote for my team, off to alert Amy to put you in my group!

ReplyDeleteHow neat to see fellow grads from last summer now as fellow mentors!
ReplyDeleteSamantha, you are so right about the group aspect! It's definitely a huge motivator.
How many guys??? Well, this guy's gonna prove that whatever a woman can do, a guy can do, too! haha. Love ~S.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I found you from the "u-weaver" Yahoo group, but looking at your curriculum list I am guessing you no longer use the Weaver.
ReplyDeleteAside from that I also saw you tried Turbo Fire. I am a Beachbody coach if you ever have questions feel free to ask.
Blessings,
Rebecca
