SOAP Day 12

Scripture~ “But Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, "Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the command of the LORD my God to do less or more.” Numbers 22:18

Observation~ Balaam answered the request of Balak with the right intention. He eventually did go, and faced the wrath of God as a result.

Application~ Our decisions should also be based on the Lord, and His will, not our own. God is the final authority in all we do, and nothing we can gain while on this earth should move us from His will.

Prayer~ Father, help me to always keep Your will in my heart at all times, may I never bend Your will to advance myself.
