SOAP Day 6

Scripture~ “Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed.
But Moses' hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
Exodus 17:11-12

Observation~ Even such a great leader as Moses was not able to bear all things on his own. He needed help from God, but also from others.

Application~ I see two things that apply to my life here.

  • I try to do a lot of things on my own, that I really should have more help in. This is the reason why the chore chart I am making today is essential. I cannot do it all.
  • My husband as a minister carries a lot of responsibility. People never see how much he puts into every lesson, and the many other things he must do, which take up so much time and energy that many don’t even know about. He needs more of my time.

Prayer~ Lord, please help me to better delegate, to teach my children better how to help me, to pray more for my husband, and to ask him how I can be a better help to him.
