Wearing the Skirt

I wore one on Friday.

It was long and denim.

I felt girly.

It was nice.

My husbands smile was priceless.

Saturday I didn’t feel well and I never got out of my gym-like pj’s.

Today I wore this one to worship. This is as short as I will go- right below the knees. I like that it suit-like in design, but flippy enough to be feminine.

I prefer flats, but I only have black ones that would not have looked nice with this outfit. Did I mention I prefer flats?

Anywho~ this is my update post.

Me+skirts= I’m liking it. We’ll see where this goes.

Just don’t seem shocked if you see me in jeans, especially at the chiropractor!

  3. Love this skirt pic!(I have a few like it) I love skirts I always feel so feminine and wonderful in them! Tim likes them and I opt for skirts in the summer instead of shorts most of the time. I have several nice ones for work too! I think that is important to remind ourselves of our femininity because so much of everything has been made so androgynous in mainstream life. I find that I get more courtesy and respect from men when I wear them! My grandmother ALWAYS wore skirts! I never saw her in a pair of pants. I don't think she owned a pair LOL!

  4. I've wondered about the handling the chiropractor adjustment in a skirt myself....
