January was great! I really enjoyed this challenge, and I know how much the support and accountability mean from my first go around with the B90Days Challenge!
I just thought about how great it will be, to look back at our accomplishments for the year and see so many things scratched off!
I would like most of my monthly goals to turn into habits like last month, being more prayerful, relaxing homeschooling and sticking to a chore chart. These 3 are coming along with me into February. I may choose a few shorter termed goals, but for the most part I want to stick to making me a better me.
For February I have chosen:
1. Finish filling out and using home management binder.
2. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, and take my vitamins.
3. Live more simply.
1. Home Management Binder~ I made “The Box” last month on a whim. It caught on quick! I am moving over to a binder, as I found myself needing a place to stash ideas and things that the box didn’t have room for. I ordered a book that I will talk about below that immediately inspired me to jump into this. I printed off pages from several places last night. I want to spend the next few weeks filling it all in and deciding what works and doesn’t work in it for me. (Post coming soon.)
2. Water and vitamins~ I take pretty good care of myself. I am on year 2 of maintaining a pretty hefty amount of weight-loss. I workout 5-6 times every week. I eat well. I am not so good about vitamins, unless I am expecting, and I am horrible about drinking water in the winter.
3. Live Simply~ I was attracted while perusing Amazon to the book Organized Simplicity by Tsh Oxenreider. It came just yesterday, and boy does Tsh (pronounced Tish) have my wheels turning!! I was already thinking about a home management binder, somewhere to store all of my daily stuff in my head. Tsh kicked it into hyper-drive and I got to work last night. I will be blogging about my journey to live more simply all month, maybe all year.
My third goal is going to branch out the most- hold on because I am going to blow this month out of the water- simply of course!
What about you? Have you chosen your goals?
I have that book on my wish list! It seems like the older I get, the more complicated life becomes. I want to tone things down...for me AND my family.
ReplyDeletegreat goals!! I wonder if that book is available as an e-book? Hmmm....may need to check it out :)
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible at drinking water year round - and unless I count pre-natals, I've never taken vitamins :) Probably something I should look in to.
I've never heard of that book, but it is now on my Amazon list and will probably be in my house next week. Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteAurie- there is a kindle version for $9.99. i like to hold my books though, and with Amazon Prime it was here in 2 days. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat goals. I desire to live simply as well. It seems so hard in such a hustle and bustle world. *sigh* I think I'm going to have to take a look at that book. =) Found you at 3in30!
ReplyDeleteSimplify - I like that! I just put the book on hold at the library, thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goals, especially the water...I am still trying to get my down every day. :O)
