SOAP Day 8

Scripture~   “Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.” Leviticus 6:13

Observation~ There was continual offering of sacrifice being made, with much work and many rules. Jesus replaced these things when He died on the cross. ~ “But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God” Hebrews 10:12

Application~ Christianity is not a heavy burden. “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:30

Prayer~ Lord, thank you so much for your sacrifice, thank you for being a continual offering for those who have been buried with you in baptism.
