Blogging Through The Gospels, Matthew 10

I am cheating today, using two verses instead of one.

I Am a Follower

Scripture:

So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33

Observation:

We must not deny Christ, but acknowledge Him.

Application:

People should not be wondering if I am a Christian. It should be obvious. If I am His, I must walk like Him. I try to walk each day better than the one before.

The reward or consequence has been made very clear-if we acknowledge Him, He will acknowledge us, and if we deny Him, He will deny us.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, help me each day with my walk with You. May I share You with others and never deny your Son. Help me to follow Your will and not my own. Amen
