You Can’t Fool God!

Scripture:

“You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”  Matthew 12:34

Observation:

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. I cannot “fake it”. My heart will tattle on me!

Application:

I have known people who “talk the talk”, but don’t “walk the walk”. It is usually pretty obvious to those around them, even if they don’t realize it. In the end, we may be able to fool some around us, but we can’t hide our hearts from God!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, please help me to keep a good heart, in every circumstance. Keep my tongue in line with my heart, always keeping you in mind. Help me to bring out the best in those around me, especially my family. Amen
