My weekly update:
I am doing very well as far as eating. I purged my body of carbs for over a week- lost over 6 pounds and cheated for a our 8 year old Noah’s birthday dinner. I did eat carbs, but I figure I can enjoy a little something at my goal weight. I didn’t overindulge. I drank water, ate a burger (which I didn’t finish), a few fries, and less than half of a kid’s shake.
I was supposed to do week 3 of Ripped in 30 this week. I instead parked myself at the chiropractor all week.
I won’t go into all of the boring details, but it has to do with my neck, and a pain I was having in it. X-rays showed I will be parking myself at the chiro for the next few weeks. This all seems to stem from a car wreck I was in when I was 16.
The stiffness and pain kept me from working out this week, or really much of anything, and if I had tried I am pretty sure he would have killed me.
I plan on starting week 3 on Monday, if I can move my head enough. I hope your workout week was better than mine.
Life happens, but you can still keep moving to your goals.
