Follow the Leader

Scripture:

“Jesus answered them, "I also will ask you one question, and if you tell me the answer, then I also will tell you by what authority I do these things.”  Matthew 21:24

Observation:

Don’t you wish you could handle difficult people the way Jesus did?

Application:

Jesus knew exactly what the chief priests and the elders had in mind. He knew what they were all about, and He kept His cool. He answered their questioning with a question they could not answer. He fought the battle with His mind.

We are often irritated by people, or angered by them and they are doing much to us than these men were doing to Christ.

We should always remember how Christ handled Himself, especially in bad circumstances.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven, thank you so much for this day to learn more about Your Word. Thank you for all of the rich things I learn every time I open it. Help me to always remember Christ’s example in all that I do. Amen.
