Un-scheduling the Schedule

This month I planned to re-evaluate my schedule for 3in30. This week with HOMEmaker’s Challenge we were to work on an aspect of our schedule. The result is a combined post. ;)

My April 3in30 Goals: 3in30

1.Re-evaluate Schedule and Re-do                                      
2.Limit Computer time (with help of schedule)
3.Follow the routine I decide on.

 

#1. My schedule went from this:

Pretty simple, right?

That was my point. Without times to get things done, I find I create much less stress for myself. With the before schedule, even if I got it all done- I felt like I failed if I didn’t get it done at the right time.

#2. I have been better with computer time, and I hope to scale back even more. I have some online obligations that I cannot change, but I am trying to fill my down time with other things, get to the important things quickly, and then run from the computer!

#3. I have my own mommy schedule in the my planner that I made in February that is simple as well. I have made better progress with it, but could have done better. I have had chiro appointments 3-4 times a week for the last 2 weeks, and a toddler with allergies keeping her (and me) awake. Those things alone have made my schedule whacky.

The good news is that every day is a new day, and a fresh start. I want to get back to my 6 am wake-ups and make the best use of my time when I do.

Now I need to go and purge the laundry room for another challenge with Tsh over at her site SimpleMom.net! I also purged another area this week. I wonder if I will get extra credit?
